Class 3 News

Class Three is a mixed age phase class with Year 2 and 3. Currently we have Miss Brayne, a fourth Year BEd student teaching the class with Mr Brookes who is the regular class teacher.
It’s been a busy week in Class Three. Making ‘marvellous medicine’ by following George’s recipe, it actually smelled quite nice!
We linked in our maths too and made some different concoctions of fruit juices by measuring and weighing ingredients.
Our work on Australia continued with designing Aboriginal prints. Our peas that we planted last week are growing nicely and the observational drawings the children made were great. Our science experiments are progressing nicely too and all peas are growing well despite the different types of soil… more results to follow.
We have tried to learn a new chord on the class ukuleles and although we have found the correct places for our finger moving from C to F is proving challenging. We can, however, play ‘Three Blind Mice’.
