Almost summer

What an exciting week the last week was. The weather has been fantastic and in class it has felt like summer is already here. Our pea plants are beginning to take over the windowsill and our observational drawings will be showing this. We have been looking at the exciting journey of glass bottle through out the whole recycling process and we have learnt many new terms ready for our non-fiction writing. Working with money was also exciting and the class agreed that it WOULD be great if all the play money was real! We spent (pun) lots of time working out how to give change by adding on and investigated which coins we could use to make certain amounts.
The visit from the Berkeley Ensemble was an exciting beginning to Thursday and the class sat fascinated with the wonderful sounds and music produced.
