The diary of the nameless snail.

Today has been quite a noisy one! This morning the children were excitedly using something that they called ‘road atlases’ to search for ‘Victorian seaside resorts’. As you can see in the picture, I decided to take a look for myself when all the children had gone home. In maths everyone was working hard to solve ‘division problems’. I’m still not quite sure what this means as I am new to school but I am slowly (well, I am a snail!) learning all sorts of things. I expect the children in Alminstone will be able to tell you all about it. This afternoon the classroom was a bit quieter but I could hear some lovely singing coming from the hall where everyone was practising for the Christmas production. I hope they’ll take me along to see the finished show. That’s all I’ve got to report for now. Must dash…

  1. Isn’t it a French themed menu next week? I’d keep my head down if I was you Monsieur escargot!
