Science and Literacy in Burscott

We have been using this book for our literacy work.
Mrs Farmer got in a tub of water to see if Mr Archimedes was right.
The water went up. Can you remember why?
The water goes up because of the volume you are taking up where the water used to be so as a result pushing the water up so that more volume of the container is used.

Sadly the warm water ran out after two buckets so it was cold, although not as cold as the Atlantic ocean on Christmas day!! Your turn next!
