Junior Lifeskills

Year 6 had an enjoyable and educational afternoon at Barnstaple Rugby Club, learning about how to keep themselves safe. There were presentations from the Fire Service, ambulance paramedics, The Dogs’ Trust, South West Electricity and Community Police Officers. The children learned how to deal with scenarios such as chip pan fires and fire safety, anti-social behaviour, alcohol, car safety and keeping safe with electricity. As usual, the children were well behaved and a credit to Woolsery School. Apart from the slight issue of the bus breaking down on the way back, everything went very smoothly. Enjoy the photos!
