River cruise, Buckingham Palace, Downing Street & Houses of Parliament

Well we’ve certainly had a busy day today! Lots of walking and exploring.
We started off the day taking in the views on the London Eye. We then sailed down the River Thames on a short cruise and took in some more scenery.
After that we walked to Buckingham Palace and saw the changing of the guard.
We then strolled through St James’ Park and paid a visit to Downing Street.
Lastly, we had an amazing tour around the Houses of Parliament and even saw Nick Clegg giving a speech in the House of Commons! We also had our very own election and met our local MP, Jeffrey Cox.
What a day! Now time for dinner back at our hotel and a chilled evening :)
Surely it was freezing on the top of the boat!
I had a grreat time at london and enjoyed all of it.
What a busy day. You must all be exhausted. Now off to bed the lot of you, and no chatting!!!
