Alminstone Class have been revising how to cut safely with a small handsaw and have been learning how to tie a square lashing ready for our Aztec Weaving unit in Forest School…
Cutting safely is a core Forest School skill
There’s lots to remember and lots to communicate in each group.
Lashings are tricky things…
…but we remembered where to feed the string and to keep it nice and tight!
Next week, we’ll begin cutting with bow saws to make our giant looms ready for our Aztec weavings.
