Aztec architects

Ashmansworthy class have become Aztec architects this week. Their challenge is to design and build an Aztec pyramid which will include 4 staircases and a sacrificial altar on the top. They had to follow instructions to carefully measure and draw the faces of the pyramid and the net of an open cuboid for the temple. They will construct the pyramid, decorate it and even make Aztec warriors out of model magic. They had to learn all about the Aztec sacrifice rituals to make sure they included all the important artefacts. Look out for them displayed around the school soon!
