Finding an area for Jack

In Mathmatics, we were looking at finding area. Continuing with our Traditional Tale – Jack and the Beanstalk we were set a problem about his house. We were challenged to be architects and work out what dimensions his rooms should be, to best use the space. Using Lego, we were given different areas for rooms in Jack’s house and had to find all possibilities and decide which would work best.
