Weapons, ropes and fences

In Alminstone this afternoon we went out to the forest school area and tried three different activities. We made a wattle fence, plaited string to create rope and went hunting with spears we had made using bill hooks. Then taking turns, we threw our spears at balloons pinned to the ground to see who could do it in the fewest shots. 
What lovely activities…Can I do them with my class please? We could have a spear throwing competition!
