Year 2 Fire Safety Talk
Posted on September 12, 2017 | By skersey
We found out what the fire service do. Ask the children what they learnt.
We looked at the clothes they have to wear and some of us even tried them on.
We discussed which items are safe to touch at home and learnt a poem to help us:
Matches, lighters never touch,
they can hurt you very much.
Smoke alarms should be checked weekly. Did you know the Fire Service will fit them for FREE!
If there is a fire in your home: GET OUT! STAY OUT! CALL 999!
We practised making an emergency telephone call.
