orienteering in Burford Woods

Ashmansworthy class enjoyed a muddy day out in the woods today. The morning was spent orienteering using a map and compass to find 10 posts around the site. Mr Cole joined us to teach the children how to make a poacher’s shelter in the afternoon. The children all enjoyed their day, but will definitely need a bath tonight!
Looks like great fun wish I was there!!!
Hi Jack! Are you missing us? Hope you’re getting on well in your new school!
I enjoyed the day at Burford woods but it was very muddy ,I also enjoyed doing the orienteering because you got to go explore the woods and work together.
