A great day exploring London

This morning we stood on the floor of the House of Commons just before the MPs came in. We were also lucky enough to see John Bercow in the Speaker’s Procession – he nodded and waved at us as he walked past. Sadly no photos of either of these as photos are only allowed in Westminster Hall and St Stephen’s Chapel… where we had some very successful impersonate-the-famous-statue models.

After that we had a short walk over to the South Bank for lunch before the London Eye (fantastic weather!), boat trip and a trip to the Palace.

Sadly, the Queen had run out of cucumber so wasn’t able to invite us round for afternoon tea.
