Campfire Cookery

Today, Ashmansworthy class learnt how to make damper, a type of campfire bread, in forest school. We mixed the dough up in a plastic bag before twisting it onto a stick. We then cooked it over the campfire. Everybody’s group were successful in building the fire and there were some delicious additions to the dough such as cinnamon, herbs and chili which added extra flavour. Well done everyone!
