Air-raid shelter building

Mr Sanders has been busy building an air-raid shelter for Ashmansworthy class. He came in yesterday afternoon and some of the children in year 5 and 6 helped him construct the benches and finish off attaching the metal sheets. It now stands proudly next to the yurt, looking very authentic. Thank you Mr Sanders for you time making it at home and coming in yesterday to finish it off with the children.
