Ashmansworthy class visited Tiverton Museum this week to learn more about life during the Second World War. We had 4 workshops: food and rationing where we got the chance to try powdered milk and egg; The Americans are coming-all about the american military in Devon practising for D Day; evacuation where we got to meet Bert who was evacuated from Plymouth during the war and finally more about other things that were rationed and how people coped during the Blitz. The children’s behaviour was excellent throughout the day and you were a credit to the school. Well done.
