Investigating Shadows

Ashmansworthy class spent Tuesday morning investigating how to change the size of a shadow. Armed with a variety of torches, opaque objects and a screen they found out that if you change the distance between the light source and the object the shadow will get bigger and smaller. We also investigated which objects are transparent, translucent and opaque. Can you remember what each of these scientific terms mean
