Sunflowers have been learning about the life cycle of a chicken.
Sunflowers were ‘EGG-cited’ to roll numbered eggs down tubes and to discover little, fluffy chicks inside 🐣
Crafting and Painting Chicks
Sunflowers are practicing reciting and recognising numerals. This challenge involved us ordering numbered chicks 🐣.
Using spoons, to help develop our fine motor skills, Sunflowers enjoyed scooping oats into pots. We counted how many spoonfuls it took to fill a pot and commented on whether our pot was empty or full. We also had to take it in turns to use the spoons and pots that were available.
