Rosemoor Trip

Today, Stroxworthy visited RHS Rosemoor to explore different plants and foods related to their science work in class.  In the learning centre, we started the day looking at different types of plants and which fruits and vegetables grow on them.  We then went to the vegetable garden to find and identify different foods.  Following this, we played a game to discover which fruits and vegetables made different foods and the important role bees play in helping provide fruit for us.  We ended the morning session planting our own lettuce and sugar snap peas and then finished the day with a woodland walk alongside the squirrels and a play at the Brash.
