Forest School

Yesterday in Forest School, Alminstone class were using willow and elder to make plates and whistles.  Working in small groups with the forest school leaders, we experienced how to use small knives to whittle the elder to create a whistle.  It was a slow process, but good fun.  Meanwhile, willow was used to weave  to create a natural plate.  Both activities developed our resilience and encouraged us not to give up.
