Georgia O’Keeffe – art

We have been learning about Georgia O’Keeffe. Freddie brought a flower into school and we looked carefully at it, using a magnifying glass. We saw it had lots of detail. Georgia likes to paint flowers, landscapes and bones. We looked at her flower pictures and have tried to create own own.
We concentrated on careful painting using the right amount of paint and the right size paint brush. We then thought about what colours were wet and what would happen if we painted near it. We had to leave it to dry before we added more colour to our flowers.
