Family Group Cross Country

This afternoon, we ran the Family Group Cross Country in the good weather. It was fantastic having all the children running and supporting each other together, after last year when the races were run in bubbles. Starting with Year 6 and working our way down the year groups, we ran seven races. All the children showed great determination and tenacity, running all the way to the end and not giving up. There were some very close races, including one that went right to the line for a photo finish. Every child showed great support for both their own family groups and for all the runners. A huge thank you to all the parents for coming along to bring extra support to the children. Well done to every child who ran today. You did yourselves proud. Results will be announced in assembly on Friday.
