Forest School Friday.

Our last forest school of the term was the final day of last term. A little chilly (particularly for Mrs M!) and full of sun and rain! What fun we had!

We whittled some sticks ready for eating delicious damper bread, which we all helped to make. We had a choice of either chocolate, cinnamon or cheese; guess which was the most popular!? This was washed down with a lovely cup of hot chocolate, served beautifully by Alfie G.

We then had time to choose either from having fun in the mud kitchen or making dens.

The whole session finished with the eruption of our huge volcano. There were two internal eruptions in our volcano, one with coke and mentos (This was Mrs Morrison’s) and the other with bicarb of soda and vinegar (This was Louise and Kate’s). One erupted really well, the other not so well, can you guess which one had the better explosion?

The children have had so much fun this term at Forest School and a huge thank you to Louise for organising and running the sessions, fully supported by Kate and our parent helper Becki.
