Jubilee Celebrations at Woolsery Primary School

Last week, we created our own bunting, which we hung in the hall as part of our celebrations for the Queen’s Jubilee at school. Today, we all decorated a biscuit in red, white and blue icing and sprinkles at playtime and then enjoyed lunch in the hall (due to the bad weather). After lunch, we joined our family groups for some country dancing on the playground. Following this, we went onto the field for some traditional games based on those played at the time of the Queen’s coronation. The weather held off just long enough to enjoy the celebrations.  The children looked fantastic in their red, white and blue outfits and enjoyed all of the celebrations.
