Moorland and woodland walk

This afternoon, we walked up and up and up into the woods. We learnt about deciduous and coniferous trees, as well as different moss and lichens. Some us were brave and tasted some gorse whilst others lost their shoes/boots in the bogs. All were recovered. We climbed a tor with stunning views of Dartmoor and then said hello to the wild horses on our walk back down to Pixies Holt.
Wow what a wonderful first day you have all had . Looks such fun! And wow Dartmoor hill pony’s ! 💕 How special! What an amazing memories ! 🐴. No Bronte you can’t bring one home on the bus !
