Devon Wildlife Trust

Lou Grout organised for Jasmine from Devon Wildlife Trust to work with Tythecott class today.  Jasmine discussed the Saving Devon’s Tree Scope Project with the children. Wet Forest School

Tythecott class used tools safely to make Christmas stars.  We peeled our willow branches and then carefully measured 6 times and cut them accurately.  We then chose our ribbons, and with help, we tied knots securing the sticks together. Next, we are ready to decorate…….

ARC tennis with Tythecott

This half term, Tythecott have been learning to play tennis in their PE lessons.  They have focused on accuracy, grip, forehand, backhand, serve as well as footwork and timing.  The children have developed their resilience and have continued to improve each week whilst having great fun.   

Lunchtime football ⚽️ club

On Tuesday lunchtimes, Tythecott and Gorwood classes have enjoyed football club. We have been learning passing, shooting and dribbling including different types of turn. We have applied all our skills to play games at the end of each session.

Balance and footwork

Fencing

Tythecott and Orleigh join the World record attempt

Today, Tythecott and Orleigh class pledged to become World Record holders as they completed a mile around the school field. They all showed amazing determination and helped support each other throughout to ensure everyone completed the distance. Well done to all of you.
