River Trip

The weather was lovely to sit on the top deck and listen to the very funny but interesting commentary.

London Eye

The London Eye flight was great – we were very lucky with the weather, and could even see Wembley arches on the horizon.

Downing Street

We were SO lucky to be allowed to the door of Downing St, with time for individual photos too…

Palace of Westminster

We’ve had an amazing morning working our way through Parliament, visiting House of Commons, House of Lords and Westminster Hall. We also learnt how our democracy works and were visited by our MP Sir Geoffrey Cox. Oh, and before we went in, we had time to chat with some of the armed police (who were […]

At the theatre!

Just enough time to say we’re at the Lyceum Theatre ready for The Lion King! …and these are some photos from a quick trip we managed to St James’s Park as we were early for Pizza Hut. Some welcome downtime with the ducks, ducklings, Canada geese and swans

Lunch in the Sun

We’ve* been on the Spinning Spiders, Pirate Ship, Knight’s Kingdom rollercoaster and Pirate Shores flume… and now a rest for lunch in the baking hot sunshine! The Park is very quiet, so no queues either! (*They’ve)

On the way to Legoland

It’s a beautiful day today and we’re on our way to Legoland. We had a great tour around Westminster yesterday. The Royal Standard was flying so we knew the King was in… which meant we got to watch the guards too.

Hard Rock Cafe

The food at Hard Rock Cafe is amazing… lots of very hungry Y5s!

We’ve arrived!

At the Youth Hostel… ready to get into our rooms and head out again for Hard Rock Cafe and our walking tour of London.

At Taunton Deane

We stopped for a break at Taunton Deane services. Next stop, Leigh Delamere for lunch!
