Parliament and Horseguards

We hadn’t expected to be able to go into the chambers of the House of Commons or House of Lords because we thought both Houses would be sitting which would have meant viewing from the public galleries. However, Parliament was prorogued on the morning of our visit. This means it was the “end of term” […]

The London Eye

We split into two groups for the London Eye – here are some of the photos of the amazing views. We could see Wembley Stadium in the north of London and Alexandra Palace and Crystal Palace TV masts to the south.

Pizza Hut and Matilda

Pizza hut in Leicester Square this evening had a surprise bonus: the Odeon was staging the Premiere of Billie Eilish’sย  movie so the crowds were huge and there was a real buzz of excitement. The event security also helped us in and out of Pizza Hut through the crowds, so we felt a bit like […]

London Walking Tour

It’s been a lovely evening in London. There aren’t too many people around so we were able to move around quite easily, from the Wellington Arch to Buckingham Palace, then to St James’ Park and Trafalgar Square. Finally on the way back we crossed Tower Bridge which was lit up beautifully, along with the Tower […]

After some technical issues we got the Movie up on the big screen. With thanks to Lou for the biscuits ๐Ÿช ๐Ÿ™.

Archery ๐Ÿน

Despite the drizzle and windy conditions, we got out in the garden at Pixies Holt and fired some arrows at the archery boards. After some practise arrows, we did some team and individual high scores as well as the eliminator round, which went to the gold round between TJ and Joshua, which was eventually won […]
