The weather was chilly but dry this morning – perfect conditions for AA to try their hands at canoeing and for DD to tackle bouldering the climbing wall. Fantastic determination was shown by all!

The sun continued to shine this morning – we’ve been lucky so far! After a quick swim or run to wake ourselves up (quite necessary for some), DD went for a walk around Bude and AA headed to the beach for body-boarding.

Parliament and Horseguards
Posted on May 1, 2026 | By Mr Cole
We hadn’t expected to be able to go into the chambers of the House of Commons or House of Lords because we thought both Houses would be sitting which would have meant viewing from the public galleries. However, Parliament was prorogued on the morning of our visit. This means it was the “end of term” […]

Finally on the way back we crossed Tower Bridge which was lit up beautifully, along with the Tower […]

This morning we had our final workshop. We explored different animal parts and tried to work out what animal they came from. Then we explored some marine life in virtual reality. Finally, the children worked together to create their own animal. They had to think about its habitat, diet, how it breathes, protects itself, how […]
