World Book Day in Stroxworthy

We started off the day with learning about Ghana in Africa. We tried a traditional breakfast that included hot chocolate, yummy!

Can the school read 80 books in a day? (Around the world in 80 books, with each class visiting a different country)
We used Handa’s Surprise to base all our activities throughout the day; making recycled elephants, silhouette African landscapes, authentic African clothing, fruit bingo, drumming and an African smoothie.
Well done Stroxworthy – I love your elephants – aren’t they amazing?!
