Challenges included lowering a stick while keeping it level, going through a tyre in the quickest time and passing an object over the biggest gap using teamwork. Caving. How dark??

We had an amazing time caving, learning about stalactites and stalagmites and watching them form before our very eyes. Many of the year fours demonstrated their knowledge from this terms science lessons, identifying all three types of rocks. After lunch it was group 2s opportunity to demonstrate their archery skills. Well done to the team with Ada, Elsie, Ashley, Jenson and Raife who were the winning team. Team building before lunch

Before we were allowed lunch we took part in some team building activities to develop our communication, planning and practise skills. Well done to the girls who set a record of 3.9 seconds of getting five people through a tyre.

This morning we split into two groups to do the days activities of archery and caving. There was some great shooting with The Shruggers winning the team event. After a great night’s sleep ( all children asleep by 10pm). A relaxing start to the day with some games and then an enormous breakfast before making our lunch.
