The Great Saxon Bake-off (Part II)

Following the success of the Saxon oat cakes last week, today we made honey shortbread. We used flour, corn flour, honey and butter mixed together to form a dough, and then shaped them into biscuits before baking them in the oven. Again, there wasn’t a soggy bottom in sight, and the children enjoyed tasting the final product!
