Ashmansworthy’s muddy walk!

Today, to find inspiration for our poetry in literacy, Ashmansworthy class went for a very muddy walk around the village. The weather was perfect; crisp frost and blue skies. We went along muddy lane and across the fields, making notes and recording what we could see, feel and hear. Later this week we will write a recount of our walk and find poems which match different parts of it. We are linking this to our text “Where My Wellies Take Me” by Michael and Clare Morpurgo.
