Parliament

We’ve had a wonderful tour of Parliament this morning, following the route of the Queen when she attends the State Opening. Chris showed us around and pointed out lots on interesting things.
Afterwards, we were allowed upstairs into the Committee Rooms to meet our Neighbouring MP, Peter Heaton-Jones who worked with the children for anout 20 minutes. (Our MP Geoffrey Cox, couldn’t be there as he’s rather busy with Brexit at the moment!)
After Parliament, we walked up Whitehall, looked down Downing Street and then went to the Household Calvary barracks to take photos… (RH didn’t want his photo taken but was there!)
Bet you loved seeing the horses Lizzie! They look to be behaving themselves better than when we were there. Xxx
