Special visitors

On Friday we were lucky to have 2 very special visitors to talk to us about their experiences during the Second World War. Eddy Annand, who was evacuated to Parkham and then Woolsery, came with Mr Lott and spoke emotively of his memories of the war. He was only four and a half when he arrived in Parkham and was chosen to stay with a family. He then moved on to Woolsery and was here until he was about 11 years old. He became friends with Mr Lott and together they shared their memories of growing up during the war. It was lovely to welcome them both back again and look forward to seeing them at our VE Day party  next week.
