Singing at Exeter Cathedral

Ashmansworthy class joined Buckland Brewer, Parkham, Appledore, Hartland, Instow, St. Helen’s Abbotsham and St. Mary’s Bideford to perform their songs at Exeter Cathedral.  Andrew Downton, Director of Music, has been working with the schools over the last few months and today we came together to perform.

This afternoon’s performance is the result of an initiative to reach out children in the County and Diocese to give them a special and exciting singing experience within the majestic surroundings of Exeter Cathedral.  This  is a joint venture involving Exeter Cathedral, Exeter Cathedral School and the Devon Music Education Hub.  Children from primary schools in the North Devon area have been invited to prepare a programme of music.

    1. Hi Poppy. They recorded the video this afternoon and it will be edited really soon. Once it is, we’ll send the link out to parents.
