Proceeds from this event are being put towards new Forest School waterproofs in each school. If you are able to help at either event, please let your school know – thank you.

Please click on the ink to read about the football friendlies against St Helens.

Just a reminder that the collection date at Woolsery is next Tuesday, 23rd January. Please bring any bags you wish to donate to the FOWS hub building next to Cranford and Sunflowers classes. Thanks.

This is regular fundraiser where we ask the local community to collect together good quality items for re-use. Bag 2 School weigh all the donations as they are loaded into their van and give us a cheque in exchange! We are paid per kilo so, please have a clear out and send your unwanted items our way.

They accept: all decent clothing, paired shoes, handbags, jewellery, belts, soft toys, linen, curtains, towels, sheets.

They DO NOT accept: duvets, blankets, pillows, cushions, carpet, ripped clothing, school uniform, down-filled coats, rags/ offcuts.

Forest School Waterproofs

As you may know, our stock of Forest School waterproofs have worn out from many hours of great use and we’ve begun the process of funding replacements. We have been really touched that Mr Gill in Buckland Brewer has made a considerable donation to the school, which will fund 50% of the total cost of waterproofs at Buckand. Along with a DCC Councillor Grant and fundraising from the Movie Night, we should be able to order the first batch very soon. Thank you, Mr Gill for your huge generosity.

Computing

Just a reminder about this article from Mr Marks which appeared in last week’s Newsletter…

Mr Marks, who leads Computing across the Partnership is trying to find out what sort of support you’d appreciate having relating to computing and online safety, with a view to holding some parent information sessions later in the term. Please could you take some time to fill out this survey to let him know your thoughts? Thank you.
