James Dyson Foundation

This morning, we had a virtual meeting with a representative from the James Dyson Foundation. The children enjoyed finding out how Sir James Dyson invented the bagless vacuum cleaner. We found out details of how an invention goes from an idea stage to a prototype, then testing and making. The children were able to ask interesting questions about what it is like to be an engineer. We look forward to putting the design process skills we have learnt into practice during our next DT project
