Chinese New Year

To celebrate Chinese New Year there have been lots of activities to explore in continuous provision:-

Filling, pouring and sprinkling rice helps us develop our fine motor skills
Rolling and manipulating play dough to form noodles also helps strengthen our fine motor skills. It was fun trying to use the chop sticks to pick up our noodles.
On the art table we have been sticking coloured shapes to create a dragon.
We followed instructions on how to draw a dragon and then carefully coloured our dragons in.
