Air resistance and parachutes

In science this morning, we looked at the effects of air resistance on parachutes. 🪂
We made parachutes with different surface areas to see which would slow the descent most. After our investigation results, we found that the larger the surface area, the slower the parachute falls because more air is caught in the parachute.
