Maths games and investigations

Year 5 and 6 spent Wednesday morning carrying out maths investigations in pairs and small groups. They had to talk about how to solve them and record their methods.
Other groups learnt a card trick and then had to investigate out mathematically how and why it worked. Even Mr Cole couldn’t explain it!
