Ashmansworthy class had a lovely day in the forest today in the sunshine. After collecting kindling to get the fire going, the children got to work building shelters. We then made damper, a type of bread which is cooked on a stick over the fire and after lunch, had the obligatory toasted marshmallows sandwiched between 2 chocolate digestives. Yummy!
