Forest School

Yesterday in Forest School, we continued to think about our survival skills linked to our learning in English.  One focus was thinking about how we could use our senses in different environments.  We blindfolded each member of the class and they had to use their other senses to identify any predators approaching their camp.  Following this, we then thought more about how to create a water tight shelter.  We built mini shelters and learnt that using multiple layers would make the shelters more water resistant/proof.  The class worked together like bees and created some excellent shelters.
