Science in the Poly

Today we were planting and the children were discussing what makes plants grow. This led to a further discussion about what would happen if we gave plants different liquids. So they all decided to do an experiment with lettuce seeds. They broke off into four groups and each group have a different liquid to water their seeds with. They chose water, salt water, orange juice and oat milk. They then decided to help dig up and prep the outside beds for plants that are in the poly at the moment.
