Ashmansworthy went on the hunt for as many different invertebrates they could find to use for their scientific survey about living things and their habitats. I wonder how we are going to use this information to create data questions…..
Forest School Crowns

Whilst enjoying the sunshine, Sunflowers hunted in the Forest School area and on the School Field for decorations for our crowns. We carefully picked daisy and dandelion flower heads and observed the different shaped and coloured leaves as we added them to our crowns.

After listening carefully to the Forest School rules; no running, staying inside the ribbon boundary and to stop when we heard a special whistle, Sunflowers had a great time exploring the Forest School area. We have been so busy at forest school this week role play cooking, pruning, digging, planting seeds and making hearts by knocking in nails using a hammer and decorating with wool.

At forest school this week, we made a slide, some dens, used the cargo net with tree stumps to crawl under, made a wool web, did some mark making with charcoal and enjoyed some hot chocolate whilst singing.
